TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That would round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
